Who this site is

Paragliding Switzerland is a personal information guide about tandem paragliding in Interlaken. The site has no shop, booking system, user accounts, newsletters, or online payments.

Data this site avoids collecting

This website has no contact forms, account systems, or visitor database of its own. Personal data is never sold, rented, or traded. Advertising profiles are limited to what Google Analytics may do if you allow analytics cookies (see below).

Email (“Ask Drew”)

If you use Ask Drew, your device opens your own email app with a draft addressed to me. Your email provider sends the message directly. I only use what you write to reply to you. There is no mailing list.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This helps improve the guide.

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and may process technical data such as your IP address (often shortened), device/browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location. Google acts as a processor for this analytics data under its own terms.

Analytics cookies are only loaded after you accept them in the cookie banner. Declining keeps Analytics off. You can change your choice anytime with the button below.

Essential storage

We store your cookie choice in your browser (local storage) so we remember Accept or Decline. That preference stays on your device and is never sent to our server as a profile.

Hosting & technical logs

The site is hosted with a web host (Hostpoint). Like most hosts, they may keep short-lived server logs (for example IP address and requested URL) for security and reliability. Those logs are used for security and reliability, never marketing.

External links

Links to Instagram, YouTube, MeteoSwiss, and other sites are outside our control. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them.
