Typical price range

Interlaken is one of the world's most popular tandem flying areas, so prices are fairly standard across the main operators.

Most visitors pay roughly CHF 170–210 for a standard scenic tandem flight. Winter, shoulder season, and special offers can shift that number.

Optional add-ons

Photos, video, and longer flights

The extras people ask about most, answered plainly.

Photos and video

Most operators offer a photo/video package for around CHF 40 on site. Phones stay packed away during the flight. Action cameras (GoPro without a pole) can sometimes be attached to the harness. Ask your pilot.

Insider tip: paying your pilot directly after the flight often means the full amount goes to them, without a booking-site commission coming out of it. See flight etiquette.

Double Air

At the operator I fly with, the Double Air upgrade aims for around 30–40 minutes in the air, longer than the standard scenic flight. It costs extra on top of the base price. When conditions block the extended portion, the additional charge is refunded.

Double Air is one operator's product name. Other operators may offer a similar longer-flight option with different naming and pricing.

Works best in stronger midday or afternoon slots. Use the flight finder if you're unsure.
